Call or text 517-550-7311 — free help, no cost to your family

How it works

Three steps. We do the hard part. Most families are surprised by how simple it is once somebody who knows the system is handling it.

  1. 1

    Call us at 517-550-7311

One short, friendly phone call. We ask about your loved one's needs and who in the family wants to be the caregiver. No cost, no obligation, no pressure.

  2. 2

We handle all the paperwork — free

We complete the entire MDHHS Home Help Program application and enrollment for you, coordinate the in-home assessment, and follow up with the state until it's approved. You pay nothing.

  3. 3

    Your caregiver starts getting paid

Once approved, your family caregiver begins receiving payment from the State of Michigan — typically within weeks. We manage payroll from there so you can focus on caring.

Common questions

Does it really cost my family nothing?
Correct. We do not charge families for enrollment, paperwork, or payroll administration. Our agency is compensated through the program itself.
How long does approval take?
Most families are approved and see the first caregiver payment within a few weeks of the in-home assessment, though timelines depend on MDHHS.
Who can be the paid caregiver?
Most relatives and trusted friends qualify — daughters, sons, granddaughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and neighbors. A spouse or legal guardian generally cannot be paid.
Does my loved one need Medicaid?
The Home Help Program is a Medicaid benefit, so the person receiving care generally needs Medicaid eligibility. If they aren't enrolled yet, call us — we'll point you in the right direction.
What happens at the in-home assessment?
An MDHHS adult services worker visits and reviews what help your loved one needs each day. We prepare you for it so nothing important gets missed.
